Site notes

First: I’ve disabled the need to log in with a username and password. Too many of you were encountering problems with it. I’m back to password-protecting the individual posts. No pw on this one until you’ve all had a chance to see it. I’ll be using the same pw as before, the funny substitution my phone came up with for my predicament. If you don’t recall what that is, ping me. 🙂

Second: Thank you, Lesley, for the delightful makeover! I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see the Dowager there.

(Click her picture if you want to know what she has to do with the title of this blog.)

  1. Im in and so happy to see Lady Violet in all her Pict splendor greeting me as I arrive. I think the woad image is a good one for what you are going through now. You are getting crushed and brewed in a way through this cancer journey, but you are going to come out not the same yellow as you were before, but a beautiful brilliant blue. A warrior blue that will mark you as one who is a fighter and conqueror.

  2. Oh hooray hooray, I can see your blog again! It was marked off as private. (I don’t have a wordpress account, so I am guessing that’s why it wasn’t possible for me to see it, or log in, in order to see it).

I’ve been holding you in my daily prayers, my dear! Oh, and sent off a letter a couple of days ago.

(Ps … am hoping that with my emial, just signing L is enough to say who I am! Bless. Blogging and needing a wee bit of privacy is tricksy at times!).

  3. L my dear, yes the initial is certainly enough! And thank you for your letter. It was one of the first pieces of friend-mail to arrive on our new doorstep. 🙂

  4. So glad to find you’ve written here, dear Lissa. Thinking of you so much! And glad you like the redecoration. Love Monica’s reflections. xoxoxo

P.S. Please let me know if even the smallest detail here would make you more comfortable and happy if it is tweaked.

  5. Lesley, I have to tell you I find myself popping in here several times a day just to see the Dowager Countess. She makes me smile every time.
